캐나다 한인사회를 중심으로 결성된 ‘생태희망연대’(Hope Network for the Ecosystem, “HNET”)는 기후위기로 심각한 몸살을 앓고 있는 지구 생태계 희망을 찾기 위해 활동하는 단체입니다.
탄소배출이 인간과 자연에 얼마나 큰 피해를 끼치는지 교육하고 연구하며 일상 생활에서 그리고 더 큰 차원에서 탄소배출을 줄이기 위한 활동을 펼쳐 나가고 있습니다.
HNET은 온 오프라인을 통해 기후위기에 관한 교육을 진행하고 있으며 토론토 인근의 사설 G.Eco Park을 가꾸고 돌보며 생태계 회복을 위한 실천 노력을 진행하고 있습니다.
HNET은 캐나다 정부로부터 Charity로 등록돼 투명하게 도네이션을 받아 운영하고 있는 비영리 단체입니다.
Hope Network for the Ecosystem in Toronto (HNET) is a Korean-Canadian community charity organization. Our mission is to educate and raise awareness about the impact of carbon emissions on both humans and the natural world, as well as to work with the community to reduce carbon emissions.
Since its inception, HNET has organized numerous online and offline seminars aimed at educating people on how to protect the environment, including through initiatives like G.Eco Park.
HNET is a registered charity and a non-profit organization that relies on donations from ordinary citizens like you to continue protecting our Earth.
